How easy it is to be captivated by the sheer splendour of the Sun’s warmth, and how instinctively flora and fauna turn their faces towards it. Each second, the Sun converts around four million tonnes of matter into energy, a small fraction of which reaches Earth to create and sustain life.

This pair of earrings follows this everyday relationship: one side radiates like the Sun’s rays, while the other depicts the Earth and Cooksonia, one of the earliest known vascular plants to grow on land, some 433 million years ago.
