Folk Affinity was started by Sarah in 2026 in Singapore. Each piece is created in her home studio, made only with sterling silver or solid gold.

INSPIRATION

Folk Affinity begins with the stories that seem to find their way into every corner of the world.

Across time and cultures, the same symbols and motifs appear again and again - the creation of mankind through clay, great floods and new beginnings, fertility and rebirth, trees connecting the heavens to the underworld, changing seasons, stars that carry stories across the night skies, and serpents that swallow their tails and encircle the world. 

These are the universal stories that sit at the heart of Folk Affinity.

We live in a time that increasingly celebrates individualism, where so much of life is curated and measured around the self. Yet beneath all this, there are stories far older than us, carried across generations and borders.

Folk Affinity is a project that hopes to translate this feeling into jewellery - little reminders of the large narratives that existed long before us, and of what it means to be human.

ETHOS

We earn a little, so we give a little.

5% of shop profits are donated to charity. Folk Affinity currently supports the Cat Welfare Society, a Singapore organisation working to improve cat welfare through advocacy, education, community engagement, and sterilisation.
